Rwihinda, lac aux oiseaux
Rwihinda, lac aux oiseaux is part of the Tentative list of Burundi in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
Lake Rwihinda is a ‘bird lake’ at the watershed of the Nile river. Its islets are a haven for wintering migratory birds from Europe. The lake is also rich in aquatic and marsh plants.
